Almost half of the attacks on information systems are hacking services. This was announced at the Information Security Forum by the representative of the National Coordinating Center for Computer Incidents (NKTSKI) Sergey Korelov.
“To penetrate into the infrastructure of organizations, attackers use the following main vectors: a hacking of services available on the perimeter. According to our information, almost half of all attacks are on the share of this vector,” Korelov said.
The remaining attacks, according to the words of the NKSTI, are associated with phishing mailings, attacks through contractors and the use of malware.
Korelov also noted that at present, owners of information resources understand the vulnerability of the software. According to him, one way or another they organized the work to monitor vulnerabilities, but in practice this vulnerability in many organizations remains.
