President of Infowatch, Chairman of the Board of Arpp “Domestic Software” Natalya Kasperskaya during the SOC forum 2022 said that industrial enterprises need to reconsider their information security systems, reducing their penetration through the Internet.
According to Kaspersky, decyptions can be one of the protection measures from cyber attacks, including “Removing Internet sensors where they may not be very necessary … and if possible the transition to mechanical systems”.
One of the protection measures should also be the separation of the ASUTP (automated process control system) and corporate segments.
