On the eve of the drop in fuel discounts, shortages are to be expected in service stations.

On the eve of this drop, the queues of motorists in front of the service stations could lie down, and the difficulties of supplying fuel intensifying. Monday, 21 % of service stations were at least one fuel, petrol or diesel, and 13 % were completely dry, among the 9,900 stations which served on September 20 before a long strike in French refineries . On October 26, when this strike only touched two Totalnergies sites, this figure was 14.5 %. The situation is more tense in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and in Ile-de-France.
