Refutation of attack did not help: Lockbit 3.0 group poured Thales data to network

Yesterday, the LockBit 3.0 extortion group began to drain data stolen from the French defense and technological company Thales to the network. Thales is one of the international leaders in the field of high technology for the defense sector. Her staff is more than 81,000 employees around the world. The group invests in digital and DeepTech -innovations – big data, artificial intelligence, communication, cybersecurity and quantum technologies.

The company was added to the list of victims of the group on October 31. The gang of cyber carriers threatened to drain the data to the network on November 7, 2022, if Thales did not pay a ransom. And now – time passed, the attackers decided to restrain their word, on October 11, posting the company’s data.

Now Thales is trying to undertake the meaning of the incident and convince partners with clients that the attack of extortionists did not affect its activities.

Recall, a little more than a week ago, Thales denied reports of cyber attack on their systems. Then the company representative said that IB specialists failed to find any traces of influence on their IT systems or invasion of them.
