This revelation, in the next day of the election of Jordan Bardella, occurs after the Grégoire de Fournas case, suspended from the National Assembly for xenophobic remarks made during the question session in the government of November 3. His case had occupied the politico-media scene in the forty-eight hours preceding the Congress of the RN, and highlighted his obsessions on immigrants and skin color, far from the dediabolization desired by the party. In order to cut short this bad pass, the deputy of Gironde even discreetly resigned from the National Council, where he had however been elected by the activists. A decision taken “in agreement with the RN”.
The election of Jordan Bardella was then parasitized by the internal sling led by Steeve Briois and Bruno Bilde, Pillars of the Party and “Marinism”, not renewed at the Executive Office. Their denunciation of a “beginning of purge” and a “re-radicalization” of the party largely overshadowed the coverage of victory, however greater than the expectations (85 % of the votes), of Mr. Bardella. The condemnation of Hervé Juvin – who has not responded to the world – is one more file on the table of the young president.

Presented as “the intellectual” of the national rally, this specialist in economics and ecology is listened to by Marine Le Pen. When the press questioned her, during the presidential campaign of 2022, on the possible composition of her government, she had two names in mind: Jean-Paul Garraud to justice and Hervé Juvin in ecology. Sébastien Chenu, spokesperson for the candidate, credited him with a “personal relationship with Marine outside the structures.
