South Korea: in Seoul, dozens of people in cardiac arrest during Halloween celebrations

The victims seem to have been taken in crowd movements in the Itaewon district, where thousands of people had gathered to celebrate Halloween.

Dozens of people were taken care of after having made a cardiac arrest in Seoul, capital of South Korea, Saturday October 29, during Halloween celebrations.

A firefighter spokesman confirmed the facts, adding that one hundred and forty ambulances had been deployed in the Itaewon district to rescue the victims. About fifty people have made a cardiac arrest there, where thousands of people celebrated Halloween, according to the South Korean news agency Yonhap.

Photographs published by Yonhap show more than a dozen people lying on the ground and rescuers assistance with them while the police held the crowd at a distance.

The victims seem to have been taken in crowd movements.

The South Korean president, Yoon Seok-Youl, asked that the hospitals are preparing to welcome the wounded, announced the presidency.
