This simple text mentioning the first name of two of his relatives, as well as the address and up to the floor of the supplier of his weapon, had made it possible to quickly challenge eight people, including three close to the killer: Mohamed Ghraieb , Chokri Chafroud and Ramzi Arefa, all three tried for association of terrorist criminals. “Several witnesses speak of revenge, of manipulation …”, questions the president of the Special Assize Court of Paris, Laurent Raviot.
“A whole conjunction of elements can indeed suggest that he tried to put his entourage in the wet after the facts”, replies the investigator, unexpected ally of the defense.
At the terrorist’s home, a few hours after the attack, the police then got their hands on other incriminating elements. First of all, several sheets of paper mentioning, again, names, addresses and telephone numbers corresponding to his three friends as well as to the suppliers of his weapon.
