At the heart of Östermalm, the chic and central district of the Swedish capital, the Villa Dagmar, open for a year and a half, offers 70 rooms that compete in comfort and elegance.

Owner for four generations of the famous Diplomat hotel in Östermalm for four generations, the Malmström family opened the Villa Dagmar a year and a half ago. At this address where Axel Munthe, doctor, writer and supposed lover of the Queen of Sweden lived, three buildings of different times and styles (judgendstil, industrial and contemporary) were brought together to accommodate 70 rooms and suites around a courtyard interior, in a Mediterranean patio spirit. Scarlet lobsters, disproportionate salmon, geometric turbots and holes align like the parade. But the Salu Hall also offers meats, cheeses, pastries and primers that can be consumed on site, in various restaurants including that of Lisa Elmqvist, formerly fish of the market.
