GitHub has announced 20 selected projects for its accelerator initiative in 2023 grants. A total amount of $20,000 will be provided to finance these projects, which are expected to work in a full working day for 10 weeks. The grant owners have been selected from more than a thousand applications through an expert council. The council includes leaders of the companies involved in the development of open-source.
The 20 projects cover a wide array of topics, ranging from web development to scientific research. The selected projects are:

– code-hike/codehike: utilities for designing Blogs, Slideshow, and documentation code.
– dioxuslabs/dioxus: RUST-Biblio for building Gui in the style of React.
– eddiehubcommunity/linkfree: an open alternative to LinkTree to create profiles with links.
– fashionfreedom/seamly2d: a program for creating a mandate.
– fastai/nbdev: use Jupyter Notebooks for quick development according to.
– Formbricks/Formbricks: tools for polls.
– gyulyvgc/syniffnet: a cross-platform for monitoring and analysis of traffic.
– jessicategner/pypandoc: a utility for conversion of documents, binding over pandoc.
– mockoon/mockoon: tools for the development of REST API.
– nuxt/nuxt: a framework for the development of web applications.
– responsively-org/responsively-App: a utility to simplify the development of adaptive Web pages.
– simonw/datasette: tools for analysis and publication of data.
– spyder-ide/spyder: the environment for the development of scientific applications on Python.
– stravberry-graphql/Strawberry: Python-biblio with support for Graphql.
– termux-pp: the terminal emulator for Android.
– timothystiles/Poly: a package for research in the field of synthetic biology.
– trpc/trpc: tools for simplifying the creation of Web API.
The selection process was evaluated by an expert council that includes the leaders of the companies involved in the development of open-source. The selected projects were chosen from a pool of over a thousand applications. The projects cover an extensive range of areas, such as Python Web-Frameworks, REST API tools, and scientific research packages.
