Issue Coreboot 4.20

Coreboot 4.20, a project aimed at developing a free alternative to proprietary firmware and BIOS, has been released. Available under the GPLV2 license, the release saw the participation of over 170 developers with 1625 changes being made.

The latest version comes with multiple improvements and new features, one of which is support for 25 motherboards. Eleven of these boards are used on devices with Chrome OS or on Google servers, while the remaining 14 are unrelated to Google. Some of these motherboards include asrock: b75m-itx, dell: Latitude E6400, and hp: Elitebook 2170p.

Coreboot has been gaining popularity lately as it allows users to fully customize their firmware and BIOS.
