Empress hacks Resident Evil 4 Remake and bypasses Denuvo

Famous Hacker Successfully Circumvents Denuvo V18 Anti-Pirate Protection for Resident Evil 4 Remake

The Resident Evil 4 Remake’s latest version of Denuvo’s anti-pirate protection, Denuvo V18, has been hacked by the infamous Empress embosser of the Empress Games. This means that the digital rights management (DRM) protection for the game has been successfully bypassed.

The developer and publisher of Resident Evil used four different DRM tools, including Denuvo V18, Denuvo Securedlc V2, Capcom Anti-Tamper’s own technology, and VMPROTECT for the Resident Evil 4 Remake. However, after hacking the game, the pirate version bypasses the protection while still allowing the DRMs to operate in the background.

Empress is a well-known hacker in the gaming world, having previously hacked difficult game protection systems, including Hogwarts Legacy. Her previous successes have made her a noticeable figure in the game world.

In April, Empress also hacked the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Complete Edition and posted the beta version of the “crack” in her Telegram channel. Due to demand for her pirate version, she promised to hack the Resident Evil 4 Remake.
