OpenMW 0.48 Released

After nearly two years of development, the open-source project OpenMW has released version 0.48 of their engine for the role-playing game The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. This free implementation of the game engine boasts several notable improvements compared to the original Openmw engine. The user interface has been upgraded, graphics have been enhanced, and the OpenMW-CS editor has been added to facilitate the creation of new games and mods. Additionally, the engine now utilizes the Bullet physics simulator and offers improved behavior for in-game bots. MacOS and Linux platforms are now supported as well.

Ready-made binaries for Linux (ppa, flatpak), Windows, and MacOS are available for download. To run the engine, users must have the game resources from the original Morrowind game or an alternative set of resources.

Notable changes in version 0.48 include:
