Seventh International Online Event “Virtpi” to Explore Open Firmware and Hardware
Today at 9 pm Moscow time, the seventh International online event “Virtpi” will provide a platform to delve deeper into the world of open firmware and hardware. The event will cover various topics including the adaptation of Coreboot for new AMD equipment and the exploration of interesting open hardware such as Nitrokey hardware safety keys.[1]
The event is divided into two parts. The first part, “Dashao User Group (Dug),” will focus on the DashaRo ecosystem and its open coreboot firmware for PCs with additional capabilities, such as the upcoming possibility of flashing the BIOS with Flash. Dug will take place from 7 to 9 pm Moscow time, seamlessly transitioning into the Virtpi session. Previous instances of this event have witnessed tremendous success with engaging discussions and significant guest appearances, including renowned figure Richard Stalman.[2]
During the event, participants will have the opportunity to communicate through audio/video conferences and text chat, facilitating interactive and inclusive discussions.[1]
