Radix Cross Linux Distribution Unveiled

A new assembly of the Radix Cross Linux distribution has been released using the radix.pro assembly system. This system simplifies the process of creating distributions for built-in systems. The assembly system includes MAKE files and scripts written in Bash and Perl, which enable working with source text archives of distribution components, assembly of distributions, package management, and installation. The distribution mocking is available for devices based on the ARM/ARM64, MIPS, and X86/X86_64 architectures. The code of the assembly system is spread under the MIT license. More information can be found here.

The latest release of Radix Cross Linux includes all the necessary tools for developing programs and web applications. This includes GCC, LLVM, PHP, RUBY, MARIADB, POSTGRESQL DBMS, as well as Apache HTTPD and Nginx web servers. The full list of packages can be found on the ftp server in the catalog of the corresponding target device. For example, the file intel-pc64.pkglist contains a list of packages available for installation on standard machines x86_64.
