In a recent announcement, the new version of the Bodhi Linux distribution, Bodhi Linux 7.0, was introduced. This version comes with the Moksha desktop, which is a fork of the Enlightenment 17 code base (E17). Moksha was created as a lightweight desktop alternative to Enlightenment 19 (E19) due to disagreements with its development policy and the stability of its code base. Two installation images are available for download: a standard version (1.3 GB) and a version with the latest Linux kernel (1.3 GB). For more information, click here.

- The default theme for Moksha is now Moksha Green, and the themes for the system’s entrance screen and boot screensaver have been updated.
