OpenMandriva Project Releases OpenMandriva 23.08
The OpenMandriva project has published the release of OpenMandriva rome
23.08, a distribution focused on continuous delivery of updates,
also known as Rolling-missiles. This edition allows users to access new
versions of packages developed for the OpenMandriva LX 5 branch without
having to wait for the release of a traditional distribution.
To download the new release, ISO-images ranging from 1.8-2.9 GB in size
with KDE, GNOME, and LXQT desktops supporting live boot mode can be
obtained from the official website. The KDE and LXQT options are available in X86_64 and Znver1 variants optimized for AMD Ryzen, Threadripper, and EPYC processors. The KDE builds are offered in both a cut-down version (1.9 GB) and a full version (2.8 GB). In addition, the release includes a separate server assembly and images for the RASPBERRYPI 4 and Raspberrypi 400 boards.
