Researchers from the Swiss Higher Technical School of Zurich, ETH Zurich, have recently made a groundbreaking development in the field of transitional execution, creating a new method called “Training in Transience Execution” (TTE).
TTE has opened up new possibilities in the realm of exploit classification. Exploits are typically categorized by the type of vulnerability they exploit, whether they are local or remote, and the outcome of their execution (such as EOP, DOS, or Spulping). A popular scheme for the exploitation of zero-day vulnerabilities is the Exploit-A-A-Service framework.
