The Ministry of Employment and Economic Development of the state of Minnesota (Deed) notified users of its work portal to search for work, minnesotaVorks.net, about the recent Incident , which could lead to a leakage of personal data.
Deed said that the department noticed suspicious activity on the site – a person or group of persons who pretend to be representatives of one of the accredited companies. After the audit, it turned out that these people had nothing to do with the declared employer. Their access to the site was immediately blocked.
