MAO NIN, representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that China has not issued any laws or documents restricting the purchase and use of mobile phones from foreign brands.
However, NIN emphasized that the government is aware of media reports regarding safety problems associated with Apple products and places great importance on information protection. The specific problems were not mentioned.
