Arch Linux Switches to Gitlab for Error Tracking

Distributors of the arch Linux have announced the completion of the migration system for monitoring the platform Gitlab and the inclusion of the Gitlab server on the Merge Requests. The modernization of the error tracking system was the next step after the infrastructure was translated for the development of packages from Subversion to Git and Gitlab.

An old interface for error tracking based on the platform Flyspray will be disconnected after some time, but access to the old notes will remain possible through a static archival copy of the Bugs.archlinux.org site. This will ensure that the recordings are still available on old links. Additionally, the error messages that were involved in the migration process now include final comments indicating the new discussion address in Gitlab. The notification buttons about issues present on the package pages will be redirected to the new system. Furthermore, the process of analyzing problem messages will remain the same, with BUG Wranglers team members conducting the initial analysis and redirecting the problem to the corresponding parties for correction.
