Wall of Flippers Battles Bluetooth Spam in Medical Devices

The discovery of a new Bluetooth spam attack has led to the creation of a Python project called Wall of FlipPers. This project aims to detect and counter these attacks, which are primarily coming from Flipper Zero and Android devices.

The attack, known as Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) attack, targets devices using the BLE technology. BLE enables functions such as notification transfer and updating device statuses without the need for a constant connection. This results in reduced power consumption compared to the classic Bluetooth technology. BLE has gained significant popularity since the release of Bluetooth 4.0 and continues to evolve with subsequent versions of the Bluetooth standard.
