Next Version of Radix Cross Linux Released
The next version of the distribution of Radix Cross Linux 1.9.300 has been released. This version is built using the assembly system developed by radix.pro, which simplifies the formation of distributions for built-in systems. The new release supports devices based on ARM/ARM64, MIPS, and X86/X86_64 architectures. The images for loading have been prepared according to the instructions provided in the platform download section. These images contain a local repository of packages, eliminating the need for an Internet connection during installation. The code for the assembly system can be found at the following link.
Issue 1.9.300 includes several notable updates, one of which is the inclusion of packages with the user environment mate 1.27.3. The full list of packages can be found on the FTP server, categorized based on the target device. The package lists can be accessed by opening the corresponding file with the extension ‘.pkglist’. For example, the file intel-pc64.pkglist contains the packages available for installation on standard x86_64 machines.
For installation instructions, users can refer to the Install section on the Radix Cross Linux website. Additionally, specific instructions for different devices can be found in dedicated sections, such as the Orange Pi5 device.
