Manjaro Linux 23.1 Vulcan Released
The release of Manjaro Linux 23.1, based on Arch Linux and designed for beginner users, has taken place. This distribution is notable for its simplified and user-friendly installation process, which supports automatic equipment recognition and installation of necessary drivers. Manjaro is supplied in the form of a Live assembly with graphic environments KDE, GNOME, and XFCE.
With the participation of the community, additional assemblies with budgie, cinnamon, deepin, lxde, lxqt, mate, and i3 are also developed.
In Manjaro, repositories are managed using their own Boxit tools designed in the GIT image. The distribution follows a continuous update principle, with new versions undergoing an additional stabilization stage. In addition to its own repository, Manjaro also supports the use of the Arch User Repository (AUR). The distribution comes equipped with a graphic installer and a graphical interface for system setup.
