Tuesday Updates: Microsoft Addresses 34 Deficiencies and One Zero Day Vulnerability in AMD Processors
Tuesday’s updates from Microsoft for December 2023 consist of crucial safety patches aimed at addressing 34 deficiencies, alongside the mitigation of a zero day vulnerability discovered in AMD processors.
Out of the 8 remote code execution (RCE) vulnerabilities that were resolved, Microsoft has classified 3 of them as “critical”. Notably, a total of 4 critical vulnerabilities were identified, with one affecting Power Platform, two impacting Internet Connection Sharing (RCE), and one infiltrating the Windows MSHTML (RCE) platform.
