Raspberry Pi OS 2023-12-05 Released with Major Updates
The new version of the Raspberry Pi OS operating system, released on December 5, 2023, brings significant updates and improvements. Based on Debian 12 “Bookworm” and supported by the Linux 6.1.63 LTS core, the new OS offers enhanced features for the latest Raspberry Pi 5 model.
Improved Support for Raspberry Pi 5
The latest update includes added support for switching a sequential port to the RC_gui and Raspi-Config tools. Furthermore, the Mathematica and Scratch 3 applications have been updated to work seamlessly with the new Raspberry Pi and 64-64-Bit ARM installations.
Enhancements in the New OS
Several enhancements have been introduced in the new version of the operating system. Users now have the option to activate a dark GTK theme in the appearance settings.
