The Swedish company Everdrone has announced the launch of their latest innovation, the E2 drone. This cutting-edge drone incorporates an advanced camera system and a customizable medical kit, aiming to revolutionize emergency response services. With the ability to transmit live infrared and high-quality video, along with medical equipment, the E2 drone is expected to significantly reduce average response times to emergencies, bringing it down to just two minutes.
An essential feature of the E2 drone is its LiveView capability, which provides rescuers with vital information to make critical decisions. Mats Se Selstrem, the Director General of Everdrone, explains, “In addition to this real-time video feed, we have also included the ability to deliver a range of medical supplies directly to the scene, such as automatic external defibrillators and kits for stopping bleeding.”
With a maximum speed of 82 km/h and a working radius of 8 kilometers, the E2 drone is capable of efficiently covering a significant area. Its carrying capacity of 3 kg allows for the placement of a system of sensors and a medical set on board.
Everdrone has developed an impressive system in which the E2 drone can be deployed within 15 seconds of receiving a distress signal. The company confidently asserts that their drone is capable of providing coverage to over 99% of the population in European cities.
