Developers from Mozilla recently announced the creation of an official repository with Deb packets that make it possible to install nightly assemblies of Firefox in Debian, Ubuntu, Linux Mint, and other Debian-like distributions. These packages are compatible with the traditional assemblies of Firefox for Debian and Ubuntu, which are available for download in archives “.tar.bz2”.
In order to utilize the installation and updating capabilities of APT-REPAROSIONAL, packages are assembled with additional optimizations and safety enhancements. The publication of these assemblies is integrated into the main process of preparing Firefox releases. The package also includes a .desktop file for placing a shortcut on the desktop and in the distribution menu.
