Distributors of the distribution Kubuntu announced the provision of the possibility of moving to a fresh stable version of the KDE user environment in the LTS vehicle Kubuntu 22.04. The installation requires packages with KDE Plasma 5.27, KDE Frameworks 5.110, and KDE Gear 23.08, which are supported from Kubuntu 23.10. The standard delivery of Kubuntu 22.04 LTS includes KDE Plasma 5.24 and KDE Gear 21.12.
