Window Maker Live 0.96 Released: A User Environment Based on Window Maker 0.96
Window Maker Live 0.96 has been published, offering users a user environment based on the Window Maker 0.96 window manager. The interface follows the style of nextstep. This release uses the Linux 6.4.4 kernel and includes packages from Debian 12.2. Distribution files have been prepared for AMD64 and I386 architectures, with a size of 2.7 GB.
The Debian repositories include Gnustep components, which are placed in a separate Gnustep Apps submenu. The assembly includes the EMACS 29.1 text editor that utilizes Gnustep libraries. An assembly with GTK2 is also available. Additionally, the Gnustep GNUMALAR Mail Client is included, and Claws Mail is provided as an alternative option. The browsers Pale Moon and surf are supplied for web browsing.
