Nextcloud Hub 5 offers collaborative platform

Introducing NEXTCLOUD HUB 5, the self-sufficient solution for organizing joint work, available for businesses and teams engaged in various projects. NEXTCLOUD HUB 5 is similar to Google Docs and Microsoft 365 but offers a fully controlled collaboration infrastructure that operates on its servers, not attached to external cloud services. The platform is a merger of open NEXTCLOUD cloud platforms, facilitating joint work with files, documents, and information for various tasks and events.

NEXTCLOUD HUB also includes email access, messaging, video conferences, and chats. The platform provides users with authentication, both in the local database and through integration with LDAP/Active Directory, Kerberos, IMAP, and SHIBBOLETH/SAML 2.0, and allows two-factor authentication, SSO (Single-Sign-on), and binding new systems to an account on a QR code.

NEXTCLOUD HUB presents two main components – “Files” and “Flow.” “Files” enable users to organize storage, synchronization, joint access, and exchange of files through web access and client software for desktop and mobile systems. Additionally, users can enjoy full-text search, selective access control, creating loading passwords for loading, and integration with external storage facilities.

On the other hand, “Flow” optimizes business processes by automating typical work, such as transforming documents into PDF, sending messages into chats, and automatic tagging. Users can also create their handlers that perform actions regarding specific events.

Meantime, NEXTCLOD has released the underlying NEXTCLOUD HUB NextCloud 27 cloud storage, which supports synchronization and data exchange and enables editing data from any device, anywhere on the network. The NEXTCLOUD server can be extended on any hosting platform that supports the implementation of PHP scripts and provides access to SQLite, Mariadb/MySQL, or PostgreSQL. The initial texts of NEXTCLOUD are distributed under the AGPL license.

In conclusion, NEXTCLOUD HUB 5 is an efficient platform that combines several NextCloud platforms to enable businesses and teams to achieve their productivity goals. Its self-sufficient solution with full control of the infrastructure operating on its servers is a thoughtful solution for businesses looking to control their collaboration infrastructure.
