Alt P10 Starting Sets Get Ninth Update

Alt Linux has recently released its ninth starting set of builds on its tenth platform. These builds, which are intended for experienced users, are based on stable repositories. Alt Linux offers a variety of starter kits that are live devices and differ based on desktop and window managers (De/WM) of ALT operating systems. Installation can also be done through these live assemblies, if needed. The next update is scheduled for September 12, 2023.

Starter kitis are available for architectures, including AARCH64. The assemblies use nuclei of Linux version 5.10.179 and 6.1.32, with various options in some images. Assembly options are also indicated separately for different architectures.

In the ninth issue, some changes have been made. These include:

– A new version of the Plymouth graphic download screen.
– Suspension of the release of engineering and LinuxCNC-RT images with availability of previous versions from the archive. The release will resume on P11.
– Termination of the assembly of Rootfs with RPI core, as the UN-DEF-6.1 core fully supports the RASPBERRY PI 4.
