The Russian social network VK banned its employees full-format work from abroad, TASS reports with reference to a copy of the letter sent to them.
According to VK representatives, employees have the opportunity to work in the office, on the remote and in a hybrid format. However, to work with all access, including user data, it is necessary to be in Russia.
“Employees have the opportunity to work from the office, in hybrid format and on the remote. At the same time, full -format remote work with all access, including work with users, is possible from the office or remotely from the territory of Russia,” the press service said.
A presence on the territory of Russia is necessary in order to “be in the same context with users and understand their needs,” the company said.
