The Polish authorities accused Russia of a hacker attack on the website of the country’s tax service podatki.gov.pl. This was stated on Wednesday, March 1, a representative of the government of the republic on cybersecurity, Yanush Cheshinsky.
“Russians are standing yesterday,” he said on the air of the Polsat television channel.
According to him, Kiberatak was carried out by the Russian special services and was associated with the creation of great artificial traffic. As Cheshinsky noted, these Polish taxpayers were not stolen.
On Tuesday, February 28, the site Podatki.gov.pl was temporarily blocked. At the same time, the Ministry of Finance previously informed the Polish press agency that the reason for the problems in the work of the site was a technical error, not a hacker attack.
