The Paris court tried, Tuesday, February 28, “inadmissible” the requests of NGOs which claimed the suspension of a controversial megaprojet of oil pipeline and totaling megapro of totalnergies in Uganda and Tanzania conducted, according to associations, in defiance of human rights and the environment.
The court considers that the associations did not comply with the steps of the procedure by presenting at the hearing in December requests and grievances “substantially different” of those which they had accused of totalnergies in a formal notice from 2019, starting point for the case.
