BFM-TV dismisses its presenter Rachid M’BARKI after suspicions of foreign interference

The journalist is suspected of having broadcast, on several occasions during the past year, subjects which had not been validated by the editorial editor of the chain, possibly on behalf of foreign governments

BFMTV dismissed his journalist Rachid M’BARKI, after the audit launched because of suspicion of interference in his work, and filed a complaint against X, according to an internal email sent on Thursday, February 23 and of which AFP was aware, confirming Télérama information .

The first news channel in France opened an internal investigation in January due to these suspicions. Press revelations, whose “Story Killers” investigation led in part by journalists from the world, have shown that the presenter is suspected of having disseminated, on the past year, subjects that did not have been validated by the editorial staff of the chain, possibly on behalf of foreign governments.
