The member of a gang who had shot the Californian rapper Nipsey Hussle at Los Angeles in 2019 was sentenced on Wednesday 23 February of imprisonment on Wednesday. Eric Holder, 32, had recognized during his trial that he killed Nipsey Hussle, rising star of American rap. But he assured that he had acted “in passion”, without having planned his gesture.
A version to which jurors did not subscribe to his trial. Last July, they found him guilty of assassination and thus estimated that it was a premeditated act.
On Wednesday, the judge responsible for fixing the sanction of Mr. Holder sentenced him to a minimum sentence of 25 years for murder, accompanied by an additional 25 -year sentence due to the use of a weapon fire. He also received an additional 10 years for having shot and injured two other men who were nearby.
