DDOS ATAKA Touched sites:

  • sos alarm (emergency care service);

  • kivra (providing services for electronic communication and Internet sales);
  • Emergency Agencies MSB;
  • and some other services.

MSB spokeswoman Emely Ruud said that Sweden authorities are working with the National Cybersecurity Center to help the victims.

The Anonymous Sudan group also took responsibility for the recent cyberataka for the largest airline in Scandinavia Scandinavian Airlines (SAS), as a result of which the company’s website and mobile application were unavailable for some time, and customers data were compromised.

Hackers claim that both attacks were committed as retaliation for the burning of the Qur’an during demonstrations in Stockholm in January. In addition, attackers threaten the continuation of cyber attacks if the Swedish government refuses to apologize.
