Issue System manager Systemd 253

After three and a half months of development presented the release of the system manager systemd 253 .

Among changes in the new issue:

• The composition of the UKIFY ‘utility, designed to assemble, verify and generate signatures for unified nucleus images (UKI, Unified Kernel Image), uniting a processor for loading the nucleus from UEFI (UEFI Boot Stub), the image of the Linux nucleus and loaded in Memory systemic environment Initrd, used for initial initialization at the stage before mounting the root FS. The utility replaces the functionality previously provided by the ‘Dracut –uefi’ command and complements it with the capabilities for automatically calculating displacements in the PE-files, the Initrd association, the signatures of the built-in images of the nucleus, create combined images with SBSIGN, heuristics for determining the UNAME NUR The screensaver and the addition of signed PCR politicians generated by the SystemD-Measure utility.
• The new type of services is defined – “Type = Notify -Reload”, which expands the type “Type = Notify” the possibility of waiting for the completion of the rebnuting signal (SIGHUP). Systemd-networkd.Service, Systemd-udevd.Service and Systemd-Logind.

SystemD.Service are transferred to a new type.

• Added support for the Initrd-rejuvenations not limited by placement in memory, which instead of TMPFS are used by Overlayfs. For such environment, Systemd does not delete all files in Initrd after switching the root fs.
• For UNITs, the MemoryZSWAPMAX option is implemented to set up memory.ZSWAP.max, which determines the maximum size of ZSWAP.
• For Unit, the “Logfilterpatterns” option is implemented, which allows you to set regular expressions for filtering information displayed in the log (can be used to exclude a certain output or preservation of only certain data).
• SCOPE Junites implemented support for the “OOMPOLICY” settings to set behavior when trying to displace memory (for the entrance sessions, the value of Ompolicy = Continue is not forced to complete them).
• Added ReloadlimitinTervalsec and Reloadlimitburst settings, as well as the Options of the Systemd.reload_Limit_inTerval_Sec and /syStemd.relimit_burst) to limit the intensity of background of phono processes.
• Added parameter “Openfile” to open arbitrary files to the FS (or connecting to Unix-co-co-coctes) and transfer the related file descriptors to the launched process (for example, when you need to organize access to the file for an unheard of service without changing access rights on the file).
