The hacker group, which is the royal mail of Great Britain, demanded from it about $ 80 million as a “ransom”, the newspaper Financial Times.
Within three weeks, the post office conducted negotiations with hackers, which discussed the income and business hackers of the company. LockBit hackers demanded 0.5% of the annual revenue of the International Distribution Services, which includes the royal post office. However, one of the participants in the negotiations from the mail said that they “under no circumstances” would pay the established amount and consider it unacceptable.
As the newspaper notes, hackers threaten to publish large volumes of company data in case of unsuccessful negotiations.
