Are you ready for “brain transparency”? Such a question was raised during lectures professor at the University of Duc Farakhani at the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos in Davos in Switzerland.
Instead of this, Farahani, a well -known scientist and specialist in legal ethics, specializing in new technologies, predicts the future in which corporations and governments will be able to read people’s thoughts. In fact, this technology – “the ability to decipher the activity of brain waves” – already exists, says the scientist.
“We are not talking about implanted devices of the future,” she said to the audience. As gadgets for obtaining and transmitting these brain activity, it is supposed to use two microns.
However, Farakhani clarified that “we still cannot literally decipher complex thoughts.”
According to the report, the technology of brainwave monitoring will allow employers to determine how hard their employees work, are they distracted, how much they are necessary so as not to burn at work and not to tear off the deadlines.
In addition, the technology for tracking the behavior of employees’ thoughts can identify romantic feelings for colleagues, determine brain metrics for optimal performance, calculate scammers in the office who, hiding behind work, are actually engaged in illegal deeds. True, in this case, ordinary employees who synchronized brain activity for working together with the deceiver as part of the performance of working tasks can suffer.
The purpose of demonstrating the technological future with monitoring thoughts was to separate the “positive options for use” and not allow to be realized by the worst scenario.
