While the government “rebound” on fuels ended in early January, their prices are clearly increasing.
The aid set up by the government in 2022 to reduce the price of gasoline ended at 1 er January. First of 0.30 euros per liter of fuel, this “rebound” had been lowered to 0.10 euros in mid-November. Since then, the price at the pump has largely increased, close to 2 euros per liter.
To replace this aid, a fuel allowance of 100 euros was established at the start of the year. Poured at once, it is aimed at the 10 million French people whose reference tax income was less than 14,700 euros in 2021.
