Student from Ulyanovsk will be judged by hacking pages of student

In the Vologda Oblast, an investigation into a criminal case was completed against a 19-year-old student who hacked a page on the social network of a 12-year-old schoolboy.

As reported, the student’s mother turned to the police and complained that someone had hacked the page of her son and posted an obscene picture in one of the school chats on his behalf. This caused a conflict, which is why the boy had to transfer to another school.

After the investigation, it turned out that the crime was committed by a student from Ulyanovsk born in 2003. He said that he entered the social network with the help of other people’s data, then changed his password and found a school chat in messages, where he posted a picture with an obscene inscription. The student explained his act with his desire to have fun.

A criminal case was opened on a young man under Article 272 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal access to computer information protected by law). At the moment, the investigation has been completed and the case file has been sent to the Ulyanovsk City Court. The student faces up to two years in prison.
