This should no longer be part of the new “PAP method”, but this time, the Ministry of National Education will have preceded union negotiations in the media. Thursday, February 2 on France inter, Ndiaye has announced that the additional missions that should allow teachers to improve their remuneration within the framework of the “new pact” wanted by the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron would represent “an hourly volume of approximately 72 hours more” per year.
This annual envelope would ensure an increase in remuneration of 10 %, the minister also said. The envelope unlocked by year and per teacher would be 3,650 euros, just over 300 euros per month over twelve months.
These “new mandatory missions for teachers who will join the pact” will be of several kinds, said Pap Ndiaye. It may be “short -lived replacement, orientation and support for students, and in the first degree, the possibility of teaching in college the time of strengthening Math and French”, A -Al listed. A second type of missions concerned by the Pact may “vary according to the establishments”, since it will be innovative educational projects, funded within the framework of the National Refoundation Council (CNR) Education. In some establishments, these missions have already started and teachers receive a corresponding compensation. For new projects from September, however, it will be included in the pact, it is assured at the Ministry of Education.
“No one had told us about an annual 72-hour schedule,” Sophie Venetitay, from SNES-FSU, is surprised. The meeting with the unions is scheduled for Wednesday, February 8 to discuss the “pact” part of the revaluation, not to be confused with the “base” part which corresponds to the increase, without conditions, of certain levels of the salary grid teachers. “I made it known that we do not appreciate returning to a model where we learn things through the press even before the start of the negotiations,” adds Catherine Nave-Bekhti, of the Sgen-Cfdt.
“A form of form”
Teaching unions remember the Blanquer years, and particularly the COVVI-19 crisis, where the institution’s decisions were systematically announced in the media. The announced envelope of 3,650 euros per year and per teacher had already circulated “in off” in the entourage of the minister, they assure.
