A man was arrested in Tehran on Friday, after killing a person in the Azerbaijan embassy, said Iranian police.

Baku accused Tehran on Friday, January 27, of being responsible for the attack which killed a dead at the Azerbaijan Embassy, in the Iranian capital. President Azerbaijani, Ilham Aliev, described the attack on “terrorist”.
“All the responsibility of the attack is based on Iran,” the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Azerbaijani, Ayxan Hacizada, told local media, saying that a recent anti-Azerbaijani campaign in the Iranian press “encouraged the attack”. The staff of the embassy is “being evacuated from Iran”, he then explained to the Turkish television channel Trt Haber.

“The assailant was arrested,” General Hossein Rahimi, Tehran police chief, at the Iranian news agency Tasnim said. “This person had entered the embassy with his two young children. (…) During the preliminary investigation, the aggressor spoke of personal and family problems,” he said.
