Darwin’s Natural Selection Lacked Convincing Evidence

The study of Professor Robert Schedinger from the college of Luther in Ayov reveals unexpected facts about Charles Darwin and his famous theory of evolution. In his book “Darwinov Blaph: The secret of a book that Darwin has not completed” published in 2024, Schedger draws sensational conclusions that Darwin could not prove his theory of natural selection. Moreover, he claims that the famous scientist deliberately avoided the completion of his main work, realizing the lack of evidence base.

Charles Darwin, who became a symbol of the scientific revolution of the 19th century, in fact, could not convince his colleagues of the correctness of his theory. Despite the fact that today his name is inextricably linked with the concept of evolution, Schedinger shows that even the closest associates of Darwin did not accept his views unconditionally. The problem was that Darwin could not provide enough evidence to confirm his theory that natural selection and random mutations could explain the whole variety of life on Earth.

In fact, Darwin did not complete the book in which he promised to give comprehensive evidence of his theory. When in 1858 Alfred Russell Wallace sent a letter, settling similar ideas in it, Darwin had to urgently publish “The origin of species” as an abbreviated version of his work. He promised to release a more complete study later, but this never happened.

Why was the book not completed?

One of the key questions that Schedger raises is the reason why Darwin did not fully complete his work. Darwin himself often referred to illness as an excuse for his inability to finish the book. However, Schedinger, after studying Darwin’s drafts and correspondence, suggests that the true reason was that Darwin was aware of the lack of evidence for his theory. The absence of specific facts and data was the reason that Darwin delayed the publication, using his illness as an excuse to avoid meetings with
