Explosions targeting a radio used by the Hezbollah group have resulted in the death of at least nine individuals and injuries to around 300 people in various cities across Lebanon. These incidents occurred shortly after the use of explosive devices disguised as pagers, which caused the deaths of 12 people and injured over 2,800 individuals. Reports have also emerged of explosions involving solar panels and other electronic systems in residential buildings, resulting in the injury of a girl in the south of Lebanon. The exact cause of these explosions has yet to be determined, but speculation suggests they may be linked to targets associated with Hezbollah attacks.
Hezbollah and the Lebanese government have accused Israel of orchestrating the attack and have issued threats of retaliation. Israel, however, has not claimed responsibility for the incidents, despite rumors of explosive devices being planted in thousands of pagers acquired by Hezbollah.
