Greasy Opal: 750M Fake Accounts vs. Real Users

According to a recent report by specialists from Arkose Labs, there has been a observed increase in the use of the Greasy Opal tool in Cyberspace. This tool, which is based on machine learning, allows attackers to carry out complex attacks, including voluminous bot-targeted actions, aiming specifically to bypass security systems.

The main concept behind Greasy Opal is to present users with a problem that is easily solved by a human but extremely difficult for a computer to solve. This testing method originated with the development of the Captcha by the University of Carnegie Mellon.
