Researchers from Eth Zurich conducted a safety analysis on five popular cloud storage services: Sync, pCloud, Icedrive, Seafile, and Tresorit. During the study, experts discovered serious vulnerabilities on four platforms.
The detected errors could potentially allow attackers to access user data, replace encryption keys, modify file contents, and in some cases, gain access to confidential information.
These services are widely utilized by more than 22 million users, including both state and private organizations. One such organization is SAP, which was founded in 1972 in Germany.
