One of the vulnerabilities addressed in this release is the one caused by uncertain behavior in the implementation of the cache of DOM nizes on the page, known as Selection Node Cache. This vulnerability, identified as CVE-2024-9936, is considered dangerous as it can lead to emergency completion when processing certain content. Additionally, Firefox 131.0.3 has resolved issues related to the Bill Pay service on some bank websites, an error that caused incorrect display of spatial videos on YouTube in 360 and 180-degree modes (Vr180), emergency completion when viewing certain Windows systems with Avast or AVG antivirus installed, and a bug that prevented users from moving the button with a list of all tabs (“List All Tabs”).
