Doglinux Assembly Set for Equipment Check

A recent update was published regarding the specialized assembly of the distribution Doglinux (Debian LiveCD in the Puppy Linux style), built on the DEBIAN 12″ BOOKWORM “package base and designed to test and maintain PCs and laptops. The composition includes applications such as GPUTEST, UNIGINE Heaven, CPU-X, GSMARTCONTROL, GPARTED, PARTIMAGE, PARTCLONE, TESTDISK, DDRESCE, WhDD, DMDE. The distribution allows users to check the operation of their equipment, load the processor and video card, and check the Smart HDD and NVMe SSD. The size of the live-image, loaded from USB, is 1.36 GB (link for download via torrent).




In the new version:

  • The packages of the base system are updated to the release of Debian 12.7.
  • Updated the Linux kernel to 6.10.12 and Mesa to 24.2.2 for X86-64.
  • Updated Firmware-Nonfree to 20240709 firmware.
  • The proprietary Nvidia driver has been updated to version 550.120. Libraries for support for CUDA/OpenCl/NVDEC/Nvenc were put into a separate module, which can be used by indicating the “Load = CUDA” parameter.
  • Added a Linux version of Furmark 2.3.0.0 (Proprietary GPU Stress Test with OpenGL and Vulkan support).
  • Added utilities NVTOP
